The Leasing Consultant role focuses on all aspects of leasing, marketing, and resident relations, requiring daily on‑site presence to show units, qualify prospects, manage paperwork, and uphold resident satisfaction.
- Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; qualify and tour the community.
- Generate leads, schedule appointments, maintain model units, and conduct follow‑up.
- Complete all leasing paperwork and assist with lease audits and unit turn processes.
- Maintain accurate prospect traffic data and respond to leads within 24 hours.
- Apply sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic, improve closing ratios, and exceed leasing goals.
- Handle resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure satisfaction.
- Assist in developing resident retention programs such as events, promotions, and newsletters.
- Contribute to office, common area, and model unit upkeep and cleaning.
- Support implementation of the annual marketing plan and conduct market surveys.
- Maintain product knowledge of the property, competition, and market conditions; submit weekly market reports.
- Deliver excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround times.
- Project a favorable community image and enforce delegated community policies.
- Perform on‑site software functions, lift/move objects up to 25 lb, and work flexible hours in various environments.
