Technicians will leverage EquipmentShare’s proprietary T3 platform to generate and track work orders, monitor service intervals, order parts, and pull diagnostic data from hundreds of equipment models. The position requires independent troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on both company‑owned and customer‑owned machinery, while adhering to safe work practices.
- Create, assign, and monitor work orders using the T3 platform.
- Track equipment service intervals and order parts as needed.
- Diagnose issues across multiple makes and models with real‑time data.
- Perform safe maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
- Utilize laptops and tablets for technology‑driven tasks.
- Maintain accurate paperwork and electronic documentation daily.
- Assist with equipment and parts pick‑up and delivery.
- Train lower‑level technicians when required.
- Travel to customer sites for repairs and keep the service vehicle clean and professional.
- Participate in year‑round OEM training and other assigned duties.

Ideal candidates bring strong mechanical aptitude, experience with construction equipment, excellent customer service and communication skills, and must possess a valid driver’s license, be at least 21 years old, and be able to meet physical demands such as lifting 50 lb. A high‑school diploma or trade certification is required, and applicants must pass background and drug screenings.

- Advanced mechanical aptitude and knowledge of construction equipment schematics.
- Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
- High school diploma required; trade school certificate preferred.
- Field service, maintenance, and repair experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable record; must be at least 21 years old.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand, stoop, and bend freely.
- Clean‑shaven appearance may be required for certain worksites.
- Pass a 10‑panel drug screen and background check.
