The Business Systems Administrator will manage daily administration, support and maintenance of IT business systems, including CRM/ERP platforms such as NetSuite and Q&D. Reporting to the CMS IT Business Partner and working closely with the Finance Director and Genuit Group IS teams, the role focuses on improving system efficiency, configuring platforms and delivering user support and training. It is a hybrid position, Monday‑Friday 9 am‑5 pm, with meaningful in‑office presence.
Key responsibilities cover strategic and operational areas. Strategically, the Administrator will support the adoption of Group ERP standards, configure systems to minimise customisation, identify automation opportunities, document change requests and manage change‑management activities including training and communications. Operationally, they will perform daily user‑access and configuration administration, monitor system performance, resolve tickets, enforce security standards, maintain runbooks for business continuity, and produce reports while supporting data‑governance and supplier relationships.
The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience supporting or configuring business systems/ERPs, preferably NetSuite, and a solid understanding of ERP architecture, user access management and basic IT security controls. They should be a clear communicator, organised, customer‑focused and able to manage multiple priorities, with good project‑management skills and a proactive learning attitude. Desirable qualifications include NetSuite Administrator certification, experience in a PLC subsidiary or matrix environment, familiarity with ITIL processes and experience managing supplier contracts or SLAs.
Benefits include a salary of £38,000‑£43,000 (DOE), 23 days holiday, pension contributions matched up to 8%, life assurance at three times base salary and participation in the Genuit sharesave scheme. The company promotes an inclusive culture, sustainability and decentralised talent development, offering opportunities to grow within a forward‑looking construction‑industry leader.
