Manages a collaborative project team to ensure each key functional project discipline is meeting the planned project scope, schedule, and cost
Responsible for managing all aspects of project execution, including scope, stakeholder management, schedule, budget, and quality, within the Plant SCADA Lead internal and external project meetings, including progress reviews and problem-solving sessions
Monitor and control project budgets to prevent overspending
Provide strategic project management leadership for large and complex projects
Ensure that project timelines are maintained and milestones are met
Ensure that best practices are shared and implemented effectively across projects and teams
Adhere to Ulteig governance policies and procedures for project success
Keep track of all financial transactions related to the project
Develop and implement project plans, including risk management and mitigation strategies
Monitor ongoing project health and track key metrics
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that technical aspects of the project are properly managed
Monitor and control project costs
Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations
Work collaboratively with the Project Coordinators and Project Controls Specialists to ensure project schedules and costs are managed and tracked to plan
Serve as point of contact for clients, regularly updating project status and addressing any concerns, issues, or risks
Lead medium-to-large engineering projects from initiation through close-out for Plant SCADA
Monitor project progress and take corrective actions to keep projects on schedule, along with keeping the project plan up-to-date
Ensure availability or seeks out adequate resources to support the project
Lead overall project – coaching, conflict resolution, facilitation, motivation, and negotiation
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work. Foster and sustain positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders encountered throughout the course of work
Maintain customer focus to meet or exceed customer expectations and represent Ulteig in a professional and courteous manner

Advanced technical engineering knowledge, with the ability to understand and resolve complex engineering challenges
Advanced technical engineering knowledge of Process Controls, SCADA/PLC, RTU, IT/OT, or Electrical Engineering preferred
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Planview Adaptive Work), with intermediate understanding and experience of scheduling and cost planning
Proficient in analyzing problems, identifying alternative solutions, understanding consequences of proposed actions, and implementing recommendations to support project scope, schedule, and cost objectives
5-7 years of direct project management experience, with at least 3 years in an engineering environment
Demonstrates excellent leadership, verbal/written communications, time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills
PMP, PE, or higher/equivalent certification preferred
Achieves results by problem-solving, setting priorities, and organizing
Demonstrates openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement
Must have the ability to travel across the United States and Canada
Microsoft Dynamics (Finance & Operations) experience preferred
Must possess a valid Canadian Driver’s License and ability to meet company driving standards
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field
