The role analyzes business requirements and functional designs to determine feasibility within time and cost constraints, and designs software systems that support large‑scale enhancements and cross‑functional integrations.
Key responsibilities span requirements analysis, architectural reviews, software design, development and coding, application QA, DevOps automation, production reliability, incident support, status reporting, and technical project management for major enhancements.
Candidates need 7‑10 years of ITSM consulting experience, deep expertise in ServiceNow implementation and integration (LDAP, SSO, web‑services), and a strong background in Agile/Scrum development, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow APIs. Experience with ITIL modules, UI customization, and system integration using REST/SOAP is essential.
Proficiency in ServiceNow development (business rules, scripts, UI pages, macros, and policies), JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS, React, jQuery), and debugging and performance tuning is required. A B.Tech or equivalent degree and ServiceNow Admin/Developer certification are preferred, along with excellent communication and project leadership skills.
