FinCEN & Title Compliance Coordinator

Description

The FinCEN & Title Compliance Coordinator supports the Title Services team by performing administrative, audit, and reporting functions related to transaction monitoring, file reviews, and FinCEN reporting requirements. This role follows established policies, procedures, and workflows to assist with regulatory compliance, documentation, and quality control, escalating issues as appropriate. The position is primarily execution-focused and does not require advanced subject-matter expertise.

Consistently complete assigned transaction reviews, file audits, and reporting support tasks in accordance with established timelines and procedures. Maintain accurate, timely documentation and data entry across all assigned systems. Meet individual productivity and quality benchmarks as defined by the department. Demonstrate reliability, consistency, and adherence to compliance workflows. Communicate status updates and issues promptly to appropriate team members.

• Review transaction monitoring reports and data to identify items needing further review.
• Gather and validate information for FinCEN reporting and prepare documentation per procedures.
• Assist senior compliance or management in preparing required reports.
• Conduct routine title and closing file audits and quality control reviews for completeness and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain organized records of compliance reviews, audits, and reporting activities per retention requirements.
• Use approved systems and workflows to track report status, documentation, and follow-up items.
• Collect secure data from transaction parties as needed.
• Provide administrative assistance for updates to policies, procedures, and checklists.
• Participate in required AML, FinCEN, and title compliance training.
• Escalate potential issues, inconsistencies, or missing information to appropriate team members or leadership.

Requirements

Knowledge of basic title exceptions and/or clearance requirements is preferred but not required. The role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidates must be able to work with confidential information and sensitive data and have working knowledge of Google Docs & Sheets, Excel and Word.
