Based at our global headquarters in Raleigh, NC, this role collaborates closely with Operations and Engineering teams to maintain and dispatch real-time grid operations, working in sync with our international team in Dublin, Ireland.

  • Coordinate U.S. and EU asset management efforts with UIGI teams in Dublin
  • Assist with programming, device configuration, and data integration
  • Maintain and improve overall Command Center operations and summarize performance data
  • Support Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT) and verify system integrity
  • Perform real-time fault analysis and triage of power system operations
  • Support the integration of GridSure’s advanced control and analytics platform
  • Monitor and dispatch load management assets across UIG’s North American fleet
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to move equipment from concept to production
  • Coordinate with customers during events and alarm conditions
  • Prepare for and manage disaster response events impacting energy assets
  • Occasional after-hours support during operational events

  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, IT systems, and tools
  • Experience in automation systems or SCADA integration
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • Familiarity with DEIF, Woodward, ComAp, or similar control platforms
  • Knowledge of industrial automation system platforms
  • Availability to work at the Raleigh HQ and travel up to 25%
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
  • 0-3 years of experience in electrical systems, system automation, or other relevant fields
  • Primarily in-office at UIG’s Raleigh headquarters, with occasional travel
