Provide “boots on the ground” facilities and construction EHS oversight, reviewing Job Hazard Analyses and Safety Work Permits.
Execute field inspections through the Purposeful Presence on the Floor program and conduct safety observations of facility services and planned risk activities.
Inspect vendor operations using prescribed protocols and collaborate with JLL vendor partners to ensure compliance with JLL/account requirements on‑site.
Assist with Refrigerant Management, Lock‑Out & Tag‑Out, Fall Prevention, Pressure Vessels, Hazard Communication, and Confined Spaces programs.
Support safety and environmental record keeping, conduct EHS training as required, and assist with incident investigations.

We are seeking a Summer Intern in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) to join our team from June 1 to August 14, 2026 in New Albany, OH. The internship provides hands‑on experience in EHS compliance management, risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and field safety oversight.

The internship does not include relocation assistance or housing, and permanent US work authorization is required. Visa sponsorship is not offered.

Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree (2‑3 years completed) in occupational safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
