The role provides general administrative support, handling clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing paper and electronic files, and supplying information to stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include preparing documents, memos, reports and PowerPoint presentations, initiating routine and non‑routine correspondence, ensuring travel requests and expense reports are accurate, and collaborating with peers across business functions.
The incumbent schedules internal and external meetings and events, maintains an up‑to‑date calendar, orders department office supplies, processes invoices for payment, and coordinates candidate interview logistics.
Working under limited supervision, the employee uses experience and independent judgment to modify processes, interpret policies, and provide guidance or technical assistance to junior staff, though without hiring or firing authority.
Candidates typically hold a technical certification or associate degree and bring 5‑7 years of related experience, with a preference for 5+ years of clerical/administrative and customer service background.
