A global commercial real‑estate firm delivering services from leasing to asset and facilities management.
The Leasing Agent serves as the public face of the Residential Property Management team, linking head office with current and prospective renters. Responsibilities include contacting prospects, scheduling and leading tours, renting individual suites, and maintaining required records while professionally presenting community features and securing rental agreements.
Key duties involve touring prospective renters, assessing their needs and financial viability, preparing and submitting applications, collecting background information and references, informing candidates of application status, and handling security deposits and rent payments. The agent must stay knowledgeable about the property portfolio and market conditions.
Candidates must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s licence and vehicle access, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year of proven leasing experience with a track record of meeting sales goals. Strong communication, active listening, conflict‑resolution, and teamwork abilities are essential, along with a commitment to personal growth, integrity, and the company’s values.
Work hours are on a casual, on‑call basis with no guaranteed schedule; availability for short‑notice assignments is required. Starting January 2026, the role will shift to full‑time (8 hours per day) during a temporary lease‑up period for a new residential property, after which it returns to a casual arrangement.
