  • Represent the company as a trusted expert in water hygiene and treatment.
  • Support the wider sales team with technical education and upselling strategies.
  • Manage and grow client accounts across the Midlands and North regions.
  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers and act as the primary contact for new business.
  • Identify target markets and generate qualified leads through outreach, networking, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure accurate service delivery and train technicians in water chemistry analysis.
  • Deliver onsite water chemistry analysis for cooling towers, steam boilers, process water systems, pre-treatment, and water softeners.
  • Maintain a detailed sales pipeline and report on business development activities.
  • Prepare and present tailored proposals, negotiate service agreements, and close deals.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in business development and client relationship management.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and time management tools.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in water treatment systems (steam, cooling, pre-treatment, softeners).
  • Strong understanding of industrial water treatment processes and technical applications.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and adaptable with a results-driven mindset.
  • Certified in Legionella awareness and control; recognised Legionella qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, IOSH) is desirable.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
