Description

The Vice President of Power Delivery Services leads the strategic direction, operational performance, and profitable growth of the Power Delivery Services division, which includes power distribution, transmission, and substations. This executive role oversees engineering, construction, maintenance, business development, and financial performance while ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable service delivery. The position is responsible for expanding market presence, nurturing client relationships, and driving continuous improvement across all operations. Reporting to senior leadership, the VP acts as the primary executive contact for key clients and strategic stakeholders.

• Develop and execute the strategic vision and long‑term growth plan for the Power Delivery Services division.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of power infrastructure projects.
• Establish, implement, and maintain operational policies, procedures, and best practices for safety and compliance.
• Lead planning and execution of capital improvement and infrastructure projects on time and on budget.
• Manage enterprise risk and ensure business continuity plans for all power delivery operations.
• Provide executive leadership to engineering, construction, and operations teams across design to field execution.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to expand market share and service offerings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with utilities, government agencies, regulators, and private sector clients.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and subcontractor relationships to enhance capabilities.
• Collaborate with business development, sales, and marketing teams to support bidding, proposals, and negotiations.
• Prepare, manage, and oversee the division’s operating budget, capital expenditures, and financial forecasts.
• Track and analyze financial and operational performance metrics to meet revenue, margin, and growth targets.
• Optimize resource allocation, workforce planning, and cost management across projects and operations.
• Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain high‑performing leadership and technical talent within the division.
• Serve as the primary executive point of contact for key clients and strategic stakeholders.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, regulatory meetings, and client engagements.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for operations, project execution, safety, and business development activities.
• Provide regular performance updates and strategic reports to executive leadership and the board of directors.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, quality, scalability, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings deep utility-side and contractor-side experience, strong operational discipline, and proven executive leadership in large-scale power infrastructure environments. They must possess extensive knowledge of utility standards, regulatory requirements, safety programs, and financial management. A collaborative, results-focused leader who can attract and develop top talent will thrive in this role.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 12+ years progressive leadership experience in power delivery, utilities, or large‑scale infrastructure services, with contractor‑side experience.
• Proven executive or senior leadership experience managing power distribution, transmission, and/or substation operations.
• Strong understanding of utility standards, regulatory requirements, safety programs, and compliance frameworks.
• Demonstrated success in business development, client management, and growing large‑scale service portfolios.
• Experience managing large, multi‑disciplinary teams and geographically distributed operations.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, P&L ownership, and cost control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
