Production Manager 2nd Shift (4pm - 2:30am)

Description

• Implement process improvements to boost efficiency of each operator and cell that fall within responsibility
• Communicate to supervisors, team leads, and operators daily, weekly, monthly production goals
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Train and motivate team members to achieve performance goals.
• Emphasize organizational structure on the manufacturing floor and set clear expectations for each team and operator
• Monitor production processes and adjust schedules or resources as needed.
• Report on production metrics and suggest improvements to plant management.
• Manage production schedules based on weekly demand created by plant leadership.
• Supervise production staff and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with other production areas to ensure proper flow of information, materials, and finished product

Requirements

• Ability to spend majority of time on the manufacturing floor
• Experience with ERP systems and data analytics tools.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production management.
• Certification in project management or process improvement (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma).
• Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in fabrication, coatings, electro-mechanical assembly, complex assembly or integration
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process optimization methodologies.
