IMEG is growing, and we’d love to have you join our team! We are seeking a Medical Equipment Planner for our Naperville, IL office. The role works closely with experienced planners and consultants to deliver solutions that ensure positive client outcomes. Responsibilities include medical equipment analysis, design, implementation, budget compliance, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Assess equipment needs and determine placement on drawings through various communication methods
- Gather project requirements from clients and communicate technical information professionally
- Support project execution as a team member, assisting with planning and scheduling
- Produce standard deliverables such as cost estimates, MEQ books, memos, narratives, and letters with proper formatting
- Conduct equipment inventory assessments and evaluate potential reuse
- Update the MEQ database using meeting notes within deadlines
- Document design decisions and client instructions while monitoring design progress
- Analyze low‑to‑medium complexity equipment tasks and propose innovative solutions
- Collaborate with senior planners to develop practical solutions
- Participate in quality control to ensure designs meet IMEG and industry standards
- Stay current on industry trends and contribute to research and innovation
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutions
- Apply design techniques, tools, and specifications for technical plans
- Use industry‑standard software such as 4Tower, Attainia, and Bluebeam
- Regularly sit, walk, stand, talk, see, hear, and lift up to 25 lb
- Occasionally drive, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach, and grasp or pull

- Travel up to 10% with occasional overnight stays
- Associate degree or certificate in a related engineering or design field (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years (3 preferred) experience in medical equipment consulting
- Required experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM)

The salary range is $90,000‑$123,000, with individual pay based on experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Additional rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options.
