A global leader in real estate with a focus on commercial, retail, residential, and mixed-use properties.
The Residential Project Specialist (RPS) position is based in Greenville, SC and is responsible for overseeing residential construction and renovation projects within a designated market. The role ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet Maymont’s quality standards while serving as the primary liaison between vendors and internal teams.
Core responsibilities include managing the end‑to‑end construction process—conducting kickoff meetings, progress checks, and final punch walks—while tracking spend, scope, and budget. The RPS reviews inspection reports, ensures compliance, submits change orders, and maintains quality control across all vendor work. Additional duties involve onboarding and training vendors, providing on‑site support for maintenance issues, collaborating with peers on project scopes, and using technology to document progress and report KPI compliance.
Performance is measured by accurate tracking of project timelines, adherence to a $750 per day construction pace, budget accuracy, positive Move‑In and Rently survey scores, and maintaining fewer than one move‑in‑related work order per home. The specialist also monitors vendor performance, delivers feedback and training, and ensures precise data entry in SiteCapture and TaskRay.
Candidates must have at least three years of experience in residential construction or project management, preferably in the single‑family rental sector. The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of construction, renovation, and maintenance best practices, is proficient with project management tools such as SiteCapture and TaskRay, and demonstrates excellent organizational, communication, and vendor‑management skills.
Maymont’s mission is to positively impact the lives in the communities it serves, offering employees a purpose‑driven environment with career‑growth opportunities, a strong foundation backed by Brookfield Asset Management, and outstanding benefits such as a 5 % 401(k) match, wellness credits, and up to 160 hours of PTO annually.
