• Respond to and clear baggage handling system faults promptly
• Transport baggage within the handling area
• Report issues that could lead to further system failures
• Perform entry‑level maintenance mechanic tasks as needed
• Assist with operational issues during outages or failures
• Regularly lift and move loads up to 70 lb while following safety procedures

Requirements

The role operates in a dynamic airport environment where employees are regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, vehicular traffic, loud noise, weather elements, and various chemicals. Physical tasks involve standing, walking, reaching, kneeling, and handling baggage and equipment, requiring good hand‑eye coordination and vision capabilities.

• Possess a valid driver’s license and obtain an airport security badge
• Use basic computer skills and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Be available for day or night shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Satisfy physical requirements, including standing, walking, kneeling, and appropriate vision (close‑up, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception)
