We are seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Supervisor to keep our student housing community running smoothly. In this role you will lead a small maintenance team, oversee repairs, manage work orders, and ensure apartments and common areas remain in top condition.
Key duties include training and directing maintenance staff, promptly completing work orders within 24 hours, inspecting units and grounds for safety and cleanliness, overseeing make‑ready preparations, and managing inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships. You will also ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, provide on‑call and emergency support, and actively participate in daily, weekly, and monthly planning.
The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of practical maintenance experience covering HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general construction, preferably within student‑housing properties, and holds an HVAC certification. Prior supervisory experience is preferred, along with strong organizational, communication, and customer‑service skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to work weekends, overtime, and during peak seasons.
An associate degree or equivalent experience is required, along with a proven ability to maintain mechanical systems and perform repairs. Candidates must be able to climb ladders, lift heavy objects, and possess their own tools.
Joining us offers the chance to lead a skilled team in a fast‑paced environment, with greater responsibility and visibility than typical competitor roles. The position provides a comprehensive benefits package, a $2,000 turn bonus, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on resident satisfaction.
