- Lead daily contractor management and oversee design, construction, and technical query resolution.
- Collect and maintain project data, dashboards, and update cost, schedule, risk and performance information.
- Produce progress reports, manage invoicing and payments, and support project meetings, reviews and assurance boards.
- Assist in business case development and support the lead PM with verification of financial, schedule, BIM and quality deliverables.
- Liaise with stakeholders, update records in IMS, CP&F, CEMAR and facilitate workshops and communication streams.
- Manage baseline maintenance, change control and documentation of RFIs, notices, early warnings and claims.
- Provide support and training to the DEO, PMO, regional teams and promote learning‑from‑experience initiatives.
- Ensure project budgets are fiscally and ethically sound and comply with organisational and legislative requirements.

We are supporting a strategic UK client on a £5 bn capital investment programme to transform their infrastructure. The role is for NEC4 ECC accredited Project Managers with pre‑construction and construction experience.
Safety first – Going home safe and well. Project managers will champion Mace’s safety value, uphold exceptional safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability and compliance standards, and possess advanced knowledge of local health and safety regulations.
- Minimum 10 years post‑qualification experience in construction and project management.
- NEC4 accredited with experience delivering projects through RIBA stages 1‑2.
- Degree or HND/HNC and membership of a relevant professional body (CIOB, APM, RICS).
- Experience in large public‑sector organisations; defence or security background desirable.
- Proven ability to manage junior team members and deliver independent project work.
- Valid security clearance or no impediment to obtaining one.
- Proficient with Microsoft Project and familiar with BIM/AIM processes.
