You will be responsible for applying GD&T practices, performing tolerance stack-ups, and preparing simulation-ready models for structural, dynamic, and kinematics analysis. The role also involves creating high-quality engineering documentation, managing drawing revisions, and ensuring alignment with standards such as RDSO or EN.
In this role, you will lead the end-to-end mechanical design and development of precision components and assemblies used across rail, automotive, aerospace, or similar high-performance engineering domains. You will work extensively with advanced 3D CAD tools to create parametric models, complex surfaces, sheet-metal parts, and multi-body assemblies while ensuring that every design meets stringent engineering, manufacturability, and compliance requirements.
A key part of this position includes design automation—building macros, scripts, and parametric models to improve design efficiency and ensure consistency—along with integrating your designs into larger internal and external assemblies. This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving complex mechanical challenges, working closely with cross-functional teams, and delivering robust, production-ready designs in fast-paced engineering environments.
