You will build strong collaborative relationships with the Portfolio Manager and internal and external stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of delivery objectives. Responsibilities include reporting on performance, resolving risks and issues promptly, and maintaining accurate change‑management records in line with the DBFO contract. You will also support design activities, agree and implement project plans, and ensure resources are appropriately allocated to meet outcomes.
We are seeking a dynamic, self‑motivated individual with a project background to join our fast‑paced team. The role will deliver lower‑risk highway and technology schemes ranging from £100 k to over £3 m, covering safety, environmental, technology, remedial and junction improvement projects. Delivery spans the full project lifecycle, from feasibility through to handover.
The role requires occasional travel to other offices, depots and site visits, including night shifts, and a full driving licence is desirable but not mandatory. You will work closely with the Construction/Supervisor team to manage permits, certificates and site reporting in alignment with project needs.
Essential experience includes managing multiple projects concurrently, strong stakeholder collaboration, commercial focus, and the ability to drive project performance through contract management. Candidates must demonstrate high resilience, excellent communication and organisational skills, and a proven track record of maintaining detailed project and stage plans with contractors and internal partners.
Personal attributes valued are proactive problem solving, a strong safety culture, the ability to self‑manage and prioritise, and the capacity to build trust‑based relationships. Our behavioural competencies emphasize teamwork, trust, customer focus, respect for diversity, and a commitment to excellence.
We offer competitive salaries, a customizable benefits package covering health, wellbeing, financial and lifestyle choices, extensive training and professional development opportunities, and a hybrid working model with flexible holiday allowances to support work‑life balance.
