The ideal candidate should have a strong background in plant and wildlife identification, soils evaluation, hydrology, GPS use, mitigation planning, permit preparation, and be able to conduct work year-round in adverse climate and field conditions.
The successful candidate will have experience conducting field assessments for wetlands, threatened and endangered species and other related projects in the natural resources sector. Approximately 90% of time will be dedicated to fieldwork, proposal development, and report preparation. The successful candidate will also be involved in services related to environmental site assessments and regulatory compliance.

BS in an Environmental, Biological, Ecological Science or related field is required. 4 -8 or more years of experience in conducting environmental fieldwork and reporting is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have good writing and communication skills. The position will involve preparing field reports, internal correspondence, and formal reports and proposals. The position requires strong attention to detail to ensure compliance with relevant state/federal regulations and client specific requirements.
