This remote, virtual role allows candidates located anywhere in the United States to analyze power projects and translate technical concepts into actionable conclusions and recommendations that guide the development, design, construction, operation, and financing of energy projects in the U.S. and abroad.
You will collaborate with multi‑disciplinary project teams to provide a range of services, including advising developers of utility‑scale solar, wind, battery storage, thermal and other projects; independently evaluating new power and infrastructure projects for financing; modeling economic, technical and market scenarios for grid operators, utilities and research agencies; and creating planning studies and business cases for utilities, power producers and government agencies.
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, chemical, civil/structural engineering (or a related engineering field) and at least five years of relevant experience; a master’s degree or MBA is a plus. Although not mandatory, experience on power or transmission projects, technical report writing, multi‑disciplinary teamwork, data analysis and visualization, project finance, conceptual design, and construction management or scheduling software knowledge are highly valued. Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, leadership, decision‑making and organizational skills are also essential.

The compensation range for this role is $82,380 to $125,860, with a base salary or hourly rate complemented by the comprehensive benefits package and eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.
