We are seeking a Project Engineer who will be responsible for site planning, design, and engineering of land development projects, including grading, water distribution, roadways, storm water calculations and utilities for residential, commercial, retail, institutional and recreational facilities.
The role involves designing multi‑acre retail, commercial, and residential developments, analyzing survey reports and topographical data, researching and applying City, State and Federal codes, estimating project costs, communicating schedules, executing tasks on time and within budget, visiting sites as required, and performing other duties as assigned.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or be completing it within six months), a Florida PE license, and experience with land development projects and design software such as AutoCAD and hydrologic/hydraulic tools, as well as a background in plan production and project execution.
Success in this role depends on time management, organization, a positive attitude, the ability to work with local review agencies, manage multiple projects, interpret complex information, solve problems, think critically, make sound judgments, and apply mathematics.
