Site Manager - Project Manager

Description

You will act as the central link between clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams, balancing technical expertise with strong commercial acumen and people leadership.

• AutoCAD (or similar): Reviewing and marking up drawings
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company protocols
• Oversee budgets, procurement schedules, and cash‑flow forecasts
• Negotiate effectively with contractors, suppliers, and consultants
• Proactively identify risks and implement solutions to avoid delays or cost overruns
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve design/technical issues
• Motivate and manage site teams and subcontractors to maintain performance standards
• Develop detailed project programmes and ensure milestones are achieved
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear communication and updates
• Lead and manage multiple construction projects from planning through to handover
• Maintain accurate documentation and deliver progress reports to senior management

Requirements

We are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Construction Project Manager to take ownership of multiple projects across residential and commercial sectors. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for driving projects from concept to completion — ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

💻 Technical Skills

• Microsoft Excel: Cost tracking, forecasting, reporting
• Solid understanding of construction contracts and ability to act as Contract Administrator
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
• Strong knowledge of Irish construction standards and regulations
• Based in Dublin or within commutable distance
• Full Irish driving licence
• Highly organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills
• Expertise in cost control, valuations, variations, procurement, and cash‑flow management
• Degree in Construction Management or related discipline (preferred but not essential with significant experience)
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction, including site and project management
• Microsoft Outlook: Communication, scheduling, coordination
