  • Develop and implement training material and tools for your team members to spread basic systems knowledge to allow other team members to perform basic analysis/calculations of existing systems in consideration for potential system modifications.
  • Conduct site audits and develop reports with recommendations for system upgrades.
  • Support other Siemens personnel including Compressor Revamp Marketing, Technical Services and Field Sales regarding compressor auxiliary systems problems and requests for assistance.
  • Issue RFQs to sub-vendors and select the best options based on design fit, price, and lead time. Review and approve sub-vendor diagrams and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards. Prepare Siemens Upgrade Proposals with clear wording, accurate pricing, and lead times.
  • Review client and Siemens requirements for system upgrades and engineer cost-effective solutions.
  • Perform calculations for the design of centrifugal compressor auxiliary support systems.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or associate degree in engineering with 5+ years of experience in centrifugal compressor auxiliary systems. Those with more experience may be considered for a more senior level.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in developing training materials to enhance team knowledge of systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of API-614 and familiarity with API-617, ASME Section 8, and ANSI B31.3.
  • Proven ability to complete assignments in a timely manner. Willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
