Description

• Ensuring design outputs meet all compliance, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
• Developing and managing design programs to ensure timely contributions from all stakeholders.
• Recommending and integrating cost-effective construction strategies into the design process.
• Building and maintaining strong, respectful client relationships to influence positive project outcomes.
• Coordinating and driving consultant teams to deliver comprehensive and accurate design documentation.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Design, Construction, or a related discipline, supported by significant experience in a Design Management role.
• Proven ability to identify and proactively manage design and project risks.
• Applying curiosity and critical thinking to challenge design assumptions and propose efficient, innovative solutions.
• A strong commercial focus, with the ability to uncover cost efficiencies and practical design solutions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• A collaborative approach and the capability to build and maintain strong, trusted relationships across clients, consultants, and internal teams.
