Senior Estimator

Description

• Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction projects
• Communicate regularly with other team members, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely completion of estimates
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors to ensure that they are aware of project schedules and deadlines
• Review project plans, specifications, and other project documents to determine the scope of work and estimate costs
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that estimates are accurate and complete
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals for construction projects

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the estimating process from start to finish, including the preparation of detailed cost estimates and bid proposals for construction projects. As a key member of our team, the Senior Estimator will work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences
• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, with experience in a construction setting preferred
• Proficiency in estimating software such as HeavyBid, inEight, or Bid2Win
• Experience with government contracts and compliance is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience
