Prepare project correspondence and progress reports for client approval and support project meetings.
Responsible for the direct and personal supervision of engineering activities during construction.
Ensure projects are constructed in strict accordance with contract documents and specifications.
Maintain comprehensive documentation to demonstrate compliance with:
Provide timely and articulate communication between necessary parties that furthers the project and helps meet client’s goals.
Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including VDOT staff, local government agencies, consultants and the public.

Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as Microsoft Office suite and construction management software.
Professional Engineer’s license is required, preferably in VA. Will consider other states with the commitment of obtaining a Virginia PE within 6 months of starting employment
Minimum of 6 years of experience in transportation construction projects, preferably in VA.
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field is required.
Familiarity with AASHTO, VDOT and regional design standards, practices and policies
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent oral, written, communication and organizational skills.
