  • Help the ICT Manager set up and follow a clear set of rules for managing systems.
  • Run daily system tasks, keep network diagrams and asset lists up to date, and manage updates and changes.
  • Give advice on system risks, setup, and cybersecurity, and make sure all changes are approved and recorded.
  • Follow Defence security rules and make sure systems are safe and protected.
  • Work with others to fix ICT issues, check data accuracy, support reporting, and make sure subcontractors meet standards.

  • Experience working in system or network admin, ideally in Defence or government settings.Diploma or degree in IT or Computer Science; networking/security certifications (like Cisco or Microsoft) are a bonus.
  • Must be an Australian citizen and able to get Defence Security Clearance; White Card and site access are helpful.
  • Good knowledge of ICT systems, networks, and tools for monitoring, auditing, and managing changes.
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, good communication, and ability to work with others and follow rules.
