Provides professionally designed programming for individual or group sessions in the Swing Strong program based on member assessments.
Track client progress, provide ongoing feedback, and adjust programs as needed.
Complies with departmental uniform and grooming standards.
Assists in enforcing all gym rules and policies.
Meets with and assesses members for fitness needs and provides a safe and effective session and/or program to meet those needs.
Collaborate with other fitness professionals, massage therapists, and golf pros to create integrated performance plans.
Wears audio equipment when giving instruction while maintaining activity.
Stay current with TPI methodologies, fitness trends, and continuing education to maintain professional expertise.
Assists in the overall retention and satisfaction of members through exceptional customer service.
Complies with organizational policies and procedures
Acts as a role model and exemplifies a healthy professional attitude.
Participate in community and member engagement events, such as golf clinics or club tournaments, representing Village Fitness’s wellness approach.
Keeps supervisor informed of member issues comments and concerns.
Conduct TPI movement screens and functional assessments to identify physical limitations affecting golf performance.
Instructs members on basic strength training principles and exercise techniques.
Provides necessary participant supervision; reinforces modifications and spotting as needed.

Maintains a positive and cheerful attitude with staff, peers and members.
TPI certification required
Sits at desk/computer 25% of workday.
Personal Training experience is preferred.
Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in the exercise teaching field.
Able to maintain high stamina and physical ability while leading individual and group exercise classes and throughout the workday.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Bends up to 50% of workday.
Adapts strength training to members with specific needs and abilities.
Stands and walks for 95% of workday.
Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification required
Works effectively as a team with all departmental employees.
Must maintain and remain current in TPI certifications
