- Support integration of ERP and ETRM (Energy Trade Risk Management) systems.
- Validate P&L attribution and resolve discrepancies between accounting records and trading system data.
- Support audit and compliance reviews related to RIN, LCFS, ISCC, or other environmental credit programs.
- Produce accurate and timely monthly financial statements and analysis.
- Collaborate with corporate accounting and external auditors to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Reconcile daily and monthly positions, invoices, and settlements from counterparties, pipelines, and environmental registries.
- Identify opportunities to automate reconciliations, invoicing, and reporting using Excel, Power BI, or other analytics tools.
- Contribute to financial process design and implementation that connects project finance, trading operations, and corporate reporting.
- Manage all accounts receivable and accounts payable activities related to BCM Energy, LLC.
- Prepare monthly close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate accounting records for RNG trading and marketing activities, including revenue recognition, cost of sales, and intercompany transactions.
- Collaborate with risk management to track credit exposure, counterparty performance, and compliance with internal trading policies.
- Assist in developing reporting frameworks that integrate trading results with project-level financials.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed.
- Manage cash accounts and prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
- Partner with traders and schedulers to ensure accurate trade capture, valuation, and mark-to-market reporting.
- Prepare and oversee annual budgets.
- Provide information for annual consolidated financial audits and tax preparation.

- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; Power BI or Tableau proficiency preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally within energy trading, project development, or environmental commodities.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and/or ETRM platforms (Endur, Allegro, Molecule, Enverus) preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Must comply with Roeslein’s core values and maintain strong working relationships across teams.
- Familiarity with financial reporting for commodity transactions and project entities.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and corporate accounting principles.
