Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager to automate the provisioning and management of GCP resources
Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for deploying applications to GCP, ensuring fast, reliable, and automated releases
Design, implement, and automate a robust, scalable, and secure GCP landing zone from the ground up, incorporating best practices for networking, security, identity, and resource management
Migrate diverse applications to the new GCP landing zone, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity
Identify and implement cost optimization strategies, performance enhancements, and operational efficiencies within our GCP environment
Work closely with our existing Cloud Management team to build GCP knowledge, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative learning environment
Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues within the GCP environment
Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for GCP infrastructure and applications to ensure high availability and performance
Partner with the Security team to implement and enforce security best practices, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry standards within GCP

Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS and Azure are added advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field
Demonstrated experience in migrating applications and infrastructure between cloud providers or from on-premises to cloud
Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) and experience with at least one programming language commonly used in DevOps (e.g., Go, Python)
Proficient with IaC tools such as Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager for managing GCP resources
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Cloud Build, or similar
Significant hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing solutions on Google Cloud Platform. GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable
Familiarity with cloud security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), and data encryption
5+ years of DevOps experience in Google Cloud
Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, VPNs, Load Balancers, DNS) in GCP
Strong understanding and practical experience with DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD, automation, infrastructure as code, and site reliability engineering (SRE) principles
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE preferred)
