The Technical Document Manager (DoD Programs) leads the planning, development, and coordination of technical documentation for Environmental and Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) projects. The role ensures that all documents meet regulatory, client-specific, and organizational standards while mentoring documentation staff and collaborating closely with Program and Project Managers. The manager may also provide technical guidance on CERCLA, RCRA, PFAS investigations, UFP-QAPP development, and related environmental restoration activities.
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline is required, along with at least 15 years of professional experience, including five years on large DoD or federal environmental projects. Candidates should have hands-on experience with CERCLA, RCRA, and DoD environmental programs, as well as a track record of developing work plans, technical reports, and UFP‑QAPPs. Preferred certifications include PE, PG, CHMM, or ASQ, and experience with USACE, AFCEC, AEC, NAVFAC, PFAS investigations, and MMRP is a plus.
Employees benefit from long-term federal contracts that provide stability and predictable workloads, an entrepreneurial and growth-oriented environment, and clear pathways for vertical and horizontal career advancement. The organization encourages individuals to define their own career paths, influences program development, and stresses quality of work over volume, offering mentorship from top industry professionals.
