RLB is offering a one‑week paid work experience placement in Leeds for students interested in the built environment. The role is within the Interns – Multi‑Disciplinary department and is a fixed‑term full‑time position located at 11A, Platform, New Station St, Leeds LS1 4JB, taking place in February.
The one‑week work experience allows participants to explore three key areas of the industry – Project Management, Quantity Surveying and Building Surveying – and provides real insight into what these roles involve. During the week, students will meet professionals at various career stages, see how buildings and projects come to life, build confidence, learn new skills and begin to consider a future in the built environment.
Each participant is supported by two people: a senior mentor who offers guidance, reflection and answers to big‑picture questions, and a buddy – an early‑career colleague – who helps with day‑to‑day settling‑in, shows around the workplace and ensures all needs are met.
