Tasks

-Working in Uncomfortable Positions – Holding tools or equipment overhead, reaching into confined areas, or maintaining awkward postures. -Adhere to all quality and safety codes -Troubleshoot motor and control systems -Review job installation plan with the Crew Lead -Troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment -Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures -Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems -Assist in tracking inventory for each project -Clean up the job site -Climbing and Balancing – Using ladders, scaffolding, and lifts to reach high areas for wiring and fixture installations. -Pulling and Pushing – Pulling wires through conduits or pushing heavy equipment into place. -Perform site survey activities with a team and independently -Carrying Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – Wearing and carrying safety gear like hard hats, gloves, harnesses, and boots. -Lifting and Carrying – Frequently lifting and carrying tools, materials, and equipment, often weighing up to 25-50 lbs. -Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, safety codes, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Proficient knowledge of installation of PVC coated rigid conduit systems Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician License -Standing for Long Periods – Spending hours on their feet while wiring or troubleshooting. -Repetitive Movements – Engaging in repeated motions such as twisting, bending at the waist, kneeling, stripping wires, twisting connections, and using hand tools continuously -Hand and Finger Dexterity – Grasping objects with the use of fingers, palm and wrists to hold/and or manipulate objects (hammers, saws, pencils, pens, etc.) -Crouching and Kneeling – Working in tight spaces like crawlspaces, attics, and vaults. -Exposure to Weather – Working outdoors in extreme heat, cold, rain, or wind
