Determine test conditions and sequences for test operations.
Develop and maintain semi-routine techniques according to established standards, including ISO and QS development standards.
Prepare testing recommendations and document procedures from product design through initial production.
Regularly review test equipment designs, data, and RMA issues with customers.
Support manufacturing with failure analysis, tester debugging, and reduction of equipment downtime.
Test plan development and execution.
Coordinate engineering activities for development, procurement, installation, and calibration of test instruments and equipment.
Lead the design and fabrication of testing and test control apparatus and equipment.
Contribute to the development of DOE and data gathering to resolve ongoing failure trends.
Oversee operational, functional, and performance phases of tests.
Adhere to all safety and health regulations and company security policy.
Provide training for new procedures to production testing staff.
Review circuit board designs for testability requirements.
Work with cross-functional teams on customer-focused projects.
Generate reports and analyze test data, providing documentation and recommendations.
Perform engineering test functions and interpret test data to prepare technical reports.
Conduct tests using computer software and hardware on machinery and equipment.
Design and develop test procedures, tester hardware, and software.

Understanding of schematics.

Experience in electronics and hardware testing.
Experience with test scripts and test development.
Ability to understand and modify test scripts.
Experience with scripting languages like Linux is a plus.
Capability to solve random failures through analysis of test logs, software, physical measurement, or visual identification.
Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and C#.
Ability to build and create test benches.
1-2 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a manufacturing-related industry.
Bachelor of Science in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
