Overview

Assist journeymen building and maintaining underground power lines, including splicing and switching.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Set and work on underground transformers and other devices. -Function as a senior hands-on employee working on or around energized lines. -Properly phase and mark or tag underground equipment. -Splice and terminate underground power lines following proper procedures.

Requirements

• osha 10
• switching
• high school
• 6+ years
• 5 years
• driver's license

What You Bring

-OSHA 10 Certification. -Understand and perform switching procedures to isolate and insulate underground power lines. -High school diploma, or equivalent. -6 or more years of experience. -5 years of experience. -Valid driver's license is required.
