The successful candidate will support overall project development in growth areas of the Digital Design domain, including 1D modelling and RFQ activities. They will generate tangible project outcomes as well as literature studies and use cases for exploratory advanced AI/ML techniques.
The associate engineer will work collaboratively with global digital design teams, participate in internal open‑innovation events, and adopt internal systems and processes. They must be able to operate effectively in diverse, multicultural, and geographically dispersed teams, and present technical results to engineering and business leadership worldwide.
- Support project development in digital design, 1D modelling, and RFQ domains
- Deliver tangible outcomes, literature reviews, and AI/ML use cases
- Apply basic physics and mechanical engineering concepts (structural, thermal, fluid)
- Utilize AI/ML tools and advanced modelling methods
- Operate CAD packages such as AutoCAD, Creo, Catia, NX, SolidWorks
- Perform analysis with ANSYS and MATLAB/Simulink; code in Python, MATLAB, VBA, C
- Participate in internal open‑innovation events and follow internal processes
- Collaborate with global digital design and multidisciplinary teams

The role requires a basic understanding of physics and mechanical engineering concepts such as structural, thermal, and fluid behavior, together with foundational knowledge of AI/ML tools and techniques. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Creo, Catia, NX, SolidWorks), analysis tools (ANSYS, MATLAB/Simulink) and programming languages (Python, MATLAB, VBA, C) is preferred. Candidates should hold an M.Tech in Mechanical, Aerospace or Computer Science, or a B.Tech in Mechanical, and have at least three years of relevant experience.
