Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.
Work closely with and assist the Project Manager and Construction Manager, where applicable, in the day to day duties of the project’s administration.
Must display and promote a continuous regard to safety.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs (Vendor/Subcontractor, Purchase, Owner, etc.), track responses and advise of the status of any changes.
Act as liaison with subcontractors in expediting drawings and related information.
Monitor field work, including contract work, to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, specifications and codes.
Understand and perform document control functions in accordance with on-site policy and procedures, transmitting and tracking of submittals, compose agreements, and maintain project expediting list.

Working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, building materials, and required standards applicable to discipline.
Must have a good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Trimble tsc3/tsc7.
Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation
Effective and professional oral and written communication skills.
Enrolled in a Civil Engineering program at a post-secondary institute.
Clean Driver’s Abstract, Valid Driver’s License
Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test)
Ability to work in a team environment, as well as, being an independent self-starter
