  • Realizing Bill of Material, TCMS architecture and documents for various projects.
  • Leading as a TCMS interface for different customers, teams on technical/process issues.
  • Provide input and recommend changes to new and existing product designs.
  • Analyzing change request impacts on assigned zone and applying change if request accepted.
  • Continually recommends improvements in all areas related to standards, products.
  • Deriving the design of the products considering project requirements (performances, manufacturability, serviceability, testability, etc.)
  • Leading the TCMS related activities for different projects, conducting the various project reviews within team and ensures on time delivery.
  • Provides various TCMS trainings/guidance to the team, also supports customer meetings/approvals for the TCMS topics.

  • Requires a Bachelor's/Master’s degree in electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation /Controls engineering.
  • TCMS Engineering preferably applied to Railway products with 5 to 8 years of experience.
  • Good Application knowledge of three phase electric locomotives, propulsion converter, Auxiliary converters, Communication Protocols such as CAN (Control Area Network), MVB (Multifunction Vehicle Bus), WTB (Wire Train Bus), TRDP (Train Real Time Data Protocol), Dual-homing, Ethernet.
  • Working Experience on TCMS equipment: DDU (Driver Display Unit), VCU (Vehicle Control Unit), WTB gateways, ECS (Ethernet Consist Switch), TRS (Train Ring Switch), On board signaling systems like ATC (Automatic Train Control), TCAS (Kavach) etc.
  • Ability to convert the function description to SRS (Software Requirement Specification) and mathematical/logic solution.
  • Good understanding and design experience of train level electrical schematics and interfaces to various subsystems.
  • Programming experiences in IEC 61131-3 (preferably railway applications for SIL0 & SIL2).
  • Working experience on the locomotives, metros and EMUs are helpful.
  • SAP knowledge would be an added advantage.
