Clear passion for transportation and experience as a consultant.
Familiarity with DOT-specific guidelines and standards in Arizona – ADOT, MAG, MCDOT, PAG.
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field required.
High degree of functionality in and understanding of AutoCAD Civil3D, AutoCAD, and/or Microstation, InRoads, Open Roads Designer.
8-15 years of experience related to technical focus areas referenced above.
Technical proficiency in transportation design and/or operations.
Demonstrated experience working on design elements of any of the following: traffic signals, roundabouts, service interchanges, bicycle/pedestrian projects, signing and striping, and construction traffic control plans.
Background in three-dimensional roadway, intersection, interchange, or multimodal design.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state where you will primarily deliver work.
Experience in preparation and development of construction documents and supporting reports, plans, quantities, and estimates using highway design manuals, NCHRP guidelines, AASHTO policies, MUTCD, and local design criteria.
