Use Gas Turbine and plant modeling and simulation software to configure thermal models to support the requisition of GEV suite of thermal performance monitoring systems.
Support quality and champion LEAN/continuous improvements initiatives, design practices involving thermal performance and risk mitigation.
Drive performance evaluations for Global Gas plants which includes Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and overall Combined Cycle with a system level thinking and broad sphere of influence with cross functional teams to define associated performance risk levels.
Configure and deliver performance monitoring solutions with respect to the guaranteed values in accordance with industry codes and standards.
Leverage fleet data to lead root cause analysis (RCAs) and diagnostic efforts as needed to ensure effective and accurate customer issue resolution.
Proactively participate and support new initiatives including developing and protecting the Intellectual Property of GEV to enable impactful energy transition
Coordinate with customers, Product Line, Sales, and Engineering to ensure proposed solutions are compatible with the customer needs, design standards and established quoting limits.
Identify and support engineering solutions to meet strategic engineering needs related to gas turbine, steam turbine, combined cycle power plant performance improvement in the decarbonization technologies.
Work closely with performance testing, application engineering, design & systems engineering, product management and project engineering functions to formulate the strategic action plan to retain the guaranteed performance and/or minimize the performance risk.

Aptitude or experience that would demonstrate technical knowledge and understanding of Gas Turbine, Combined Cycle and Steam Turbine Thermodynamics.
Demonstrated capability in collaborating within a team and customers to create an inclusive environment.
Bachelors/ master's in mechanical, Chemical, or Energy Engineering.
Excellent attention to details including strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Familiar with AI and possess a continuous improvement (Lean) mindset.
Strong focus on safety, quality, execution, and process rigor.
Capable of breaking down complex problems and executing to solution.
1–3 years of experience in Thermodynamic performance modelling expertise and/or Power plant operations experience.
Strong organizational skills, communicating with transparency to deliver project milestones.
Consistently demonstrates design creativity and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to rapidly shift priorities based on business needs.
