What Drives Success: This engineer plans and designs manufacturing processes in an industrial plant and provides direct advisory support for design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation of operations such as machining, metal forming, plastics processing, welding, brazing, assembly, and material handling.
- Prepare plans, process specifications, production aids, assembly fixtures, conduct MRP studies, and develop factory cost work standards.
- Compile and evaluate test and production data, prepare technical analyses, and recommend manufacturing methods to meet design objectives.
- Provide production floor and assembly support for drawing interpretation, Engineering Change Notices, rework, manufacturing issues, and specifications.
- Conduct analyses or tests for new methods, materials, processes, or standards and provide recommendations.
- Coordinate with other technical support personnel.
- Assign work to drafters, technicians, technical writers, engineering technicians, and machine shop staff as needed.

- Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires at least one year of related experience.
- Knowledge of practical application of engineering science and technology.
- Experience with analytical and CAD software.
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles for precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and manufacturing theory and design.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Benefits
Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role with a starting salary range of $75,200 to $98,700 annually, influenced by geography, skills and experience. Employees are eligible for an annual bonus under the company plan and are not eligible for overtime.
