  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.

  • Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and other relevant regulations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, addressing any maintenance-related concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and service providers to ensure quality and timely completion of outsourced maintenance tasks.
  • Manage the facility’s inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Monitor and maintain the facility’s infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service logs, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Oversee the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and efficiency of facility equipment and systems.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate service agreements to optimise costs and service quality.
  • Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts for senior management.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance staff, including assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance.

  • Knowledge of GxP & GMP practices.
  • Ability to pass National Police Check.
  • A solid knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Tertiary degree in Engineering discipline or Trade background (preferably electrical).with sub-professional qualifications.
  • Proficiency in facility management software and systems (CMMS, Maximo preferably).
  • Thrive in a talented team environment that values and invests in your professional development.
  • In-depth knowledge of facility management best practices, including maintenance, safety, and compliance standards preferably in the pharmaceutical or similarly regulated industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a leading hand or supervisory role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or similarly regulated industry.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to develop and review key SOP’s.
