Overview

Machining and repairing gas turbine components using lathes, reamers and drills

Tasks

-You will be working with the engineering team to develop new repair instructions. -Taper reaming of turbine discs and shafts -Be responsible for the quality and of results -Minor component repair including removal of seized bolts and fittings, and removal of abradable liners on seals. -Polishing of Gas Turbine Blades and vales to remove oxidation or other defects. -Use technical drawings, setup and adjust production machines. -Repair of Gas turbine components through machining operations
