The Bridge CADD Manager will join the National Bridge Group, supporting state, municipal and design‑build clients across the Southeast and Mid‑Atlantic. In this self‑motivated role you will help develop standard CADD procedures and deliver high‑quality bridge design documents.
You will work on a variety of urban and rural projects from preliminary design through final plans, collaborating with team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with design checklists and drafting standards. The position also offers the chance to train new staff and serve as a technical resource for plan production.
- Develop CADD Standard Operating Procedures for state and local clients
- Train and onboard new team members
- Provide technical support for bridge plan production
- Create bridge plans using MicroStation and Open Bridge Modeler
- Perform bridge geometry and quantity calculations
- Produce design documents from preliminary to final plans for urban and rural projects
- Verify drawings for accuracy and ensure compliance with design checklists and drafting standards

- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
- Proficient with MicroStation, OpenRoads, and OpenBridge
- Familiar with state design standards, especially GDOT
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- 15+ years in a consulting environment (preferred)
- Experience with NCDOT, VDOT, TDOT, SCDOT, or FDOT bridge policies (preferred)
- Background in design‑build projects (preferred)

Compensation for this position ranges from $126,592 to $161,405, with salaries based on experience, education, and location.
