Carry out regular site inspections with Coffey teams, identify initiatives to improve performance and assist in addressing opportunities for improvement.
Coordinate learning reviews, produce relevant reports, advise and implement applicable recommendations.
Consulting with the site teams and others to identify significant areas of risk, develop and document measures to control and reduce risks to an acceptable level.
Provide professional support and advice to site management teams and staff on Occupational Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality matters.
Sourcing, planning and delivering training to employees as required to recognised/acceptable standards. Assisting in coordination of other training (e.g. external training providers) where required.
Assist in organising CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Events.
Compile, coordinate and partake in toolbox talks, inductions and other consultation sessions.
Continual promotion of the health and safety ethos and culture at all levels in the Company and with sub-contractors.
Assisting in producing periodic HSQE reports as required.
Assist and collaborate with the clients' representatives and relevant external bodies (e.g. enforcing agencies) and attend client and external site inspections and audits.
Setting up of and assisting in the review of sub-contract/supplier Insurances.
Assisting in monitoring and maintaining relevant training records.
Work closely with site management teams and HSQE team in continually improving our Business Management Systems.
Assist in coordination of fire safety certification, fire drills and training where required.
Engaging and promoting with the LEAN Programme in Coffey.
Assist the site management teams in reviewing relevant documentation (direct and subcontractor) prior to commencement on site and as the works progress.
Assist in the input to tender/prequalification/pre-construction process where required.
Attend and contribute to HSQE meetings at site, regional/sector and company level.

3rd level qualification in Health and Safety
Authorised to work in Ireland i.e. stamp 4 visa or critical skills visa
Computer literate

Full clean Irish driving licence
Experience in HSQE in civil construction
Desirable HSQE experience of 3-7 years
