We are seeking a Service Project Coordinator to support Virginia Transformer’s mission-critical service projects for the data center sector. Based in Roanoke, VA, this role will act as the central point of coordination and communication between VT and the customer, ensuring full conformance to customer protocols, processes, and Virginia Transformer’s Statements of Work (SoWs) and Time & Expense (T&E) contracts.
At Virginia Transformer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that mission-critical data center service projects are executed with precision, compliance, and customer satisfaction. As Service Project Coordinator, you’ll be the link between our customers and our service teams—helping to deliver reliable solutions while supporting the growth of VT’s service business.
The Service Project Coordinator will be instrumental in keeping projects on track, maintaining documentation, and ensuring that both VT and customer expectations are consistently met.
- Escalate risks or issues to the Service Manager and support mitigation efforts.
- Coordinate logistics, schedules, and deliverables in alignment with customer requirements.
- Capture lessons learned and feedback for process improvement.
- Prepare and distribute project status updates, reports, and documentation.
- Maintain clear, timely communication with customers, Service Managers, and technical teams.
- Track and manage project activities against VT SoWs and T&E contracts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between VT and customers for service project execution.
- Support documentation of change orders and amendments as required.
- Work closely with Sales, Service, and Operations teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Verify that scope, time, and expense align with contractual obligations.
- Ensure VT service teams follow customer-specific protocols and site processes.
- Provide administrative and operational support for invoicing, billing, and closeout activities.

- 2–5 years of experience in project coordination, customer support, or service operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project tracking tools a plus.
- Ability to work effectively across internal teams and external customers.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related field preferred.
- Familiarity with SoWs, contracts, and T&E processes.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
