The Planning and Delivery Leader will manage planning and on‑time delivery for a defined portfolio of parts across the full product lifecycle, including new‑product introduction, production, transfers and supply‑chain design. The role serves as the primary contact for external suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring strong relationship management, adherence to supplier commitments, risk resolution and SAP data integrity.
Key duties include coordinating supplier launches and production planning, maintaining daily planning systems, and resolving inbound delivery and stock issues. The leader will identify and prioritize delivery deviations, drive mitigation and escalation using standard tools, and conduct regular supplier reviews to monitor adherence and address shortages or excesses. Additional responsibilities cover weekly planning alignment, ERP compliance support, buyer assistance with invoice queries and delivery data, and liaison with factory logistics to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of parts.
Candidates must have experience in planning and control within a regulated or complex industry, strong data‑analysis and reporting capabilities, and proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems. Effective stakeholder management, excellent communication, influencing and relationship‑building skills, and the ability to drive change and solve complex problems are essential. Travel to supplier sites in the UK and abroad is required.
A degree in a business or technical discipline and experience in a manufacturing environment with complex supply chains are preferred. The role contributes to Rolls‑Royce’s aim of becoming a high‑performing, competitive and resilient business.
