Kimley-Horn's Fort Worth, Texas office is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with at least two years of traffic engineering experience to join its Transportation/Traffic team. The role is on-site and not remote.
Candidates need 2+ years of traffic engineering experience, including traffic impact, parking, and site access studies, and must hold a bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program. An EIT or Engineering Intern certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months) and proficiency with Synchro, VISSIM, or similar software are required, along with strong technical writing and communication skills.
- 2+ years of traffic engineering experience, including traffic impact, parking, and site access studies.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- Engineer-In-Training or Engineering Intern certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
- Proficiency with Synchro, VISSIM, or other traffic analysis software.
- Strong technical writing and clear communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, able to work independently and collaboratively.
